Carrie has been practicing law for the past nine years and has experience not only in family law, but also criminal defense. Graduating from law school in 2013, Carrie has spent her career being an advocate for clients in the courtroom, gaining tremendous trial and litigation experience. Carrie has expanded her career by practicing in the Georgia appellate courts and has been successful in obtaining a reversal at the appellate court level in the case known as Harris v. State, 344 Ga.App. 572.
Carrie is driven by her desire to help clients navigate some of the toughest times of their lives. She understands that when clients come to her, they are often very emotional. Carrie believes that it is her duty to advise clients from a realistic and logical perspective at a time when clients are dealing with many emotions which may influence their decisions. Carrie prides herself on being empathetic and compassionate, while also offering sound legal advice.
Carrie is originally from Alabama but spent most of her childhood growing up here in Georgia. She has lived in cities across the Country, including Chattanooga, Washington, D.C., Seattle, and of course Atlanta. When she isn’t in the courtroom, she enjoys live music, tasty Mexican food, and when the world was normal, traveling! Carrie is married, and together she and her husband have an adorable and energetic little boy.
